Protecting Energy Access for Minnesotans
EnergyCENTS advocates for affordable utility services and provides direct support for low-income Minnesotans through utility bill assistance and home energy efficiency programs. EnergyCENTS efforts helped passed legislation requiring the Public Utilities Commission to consider ability-to-pay as a factor for rate-setting and the establishment of low-income utility programs.

We worked with EnergyCENTS to redesign their website to better support low-income Minnesotans. We structured the site so that users could discover relief programs offered by EnergyCENTS and how they can get help in keeping their utilities on. We also worked with EnergyCENTS on celebrating their achievements in utility affordability and advocacy.
Along with updating their website to modern standards, we worked with them on developing a new visual brand and logo. EnergyCENTS feels warm and supportive, while presenting information in a clear, straightforward way. Revitalizing their brand and website allows EnergyCENTS to best serve Minnesotans and keep their power on.
