St. David’s Developmental and Therapeutic Services

St. David’s provides child- and family-centered services that support  children from early childhood care through autism services and pediatric therapies. Its mission is to help build a stronger, healthier, and more inclusive community where every child and family has the opportunity to thrive. Through a multidimensional therapeutic approach, St. David’s  delivers personalized support that meets each child’s unique needs and  helps them reach their fullest potential.

We worked with St. David’s to revitalize their website with the needs of families as the primary focus. Restructuring their information architecture allowed us to position the most valuable services and resources at the forefront for parents who are short on time. First-time users are often arriving in crisis; searching for support very specific to their child’s needs. We adjusted the site to guide them as they ask for help—educating them on options and assuring them that they don’t need to know yet.

We conducted user testing with St. David’s families to ensure the site was addressing the needs and concerns of their core audience. Valuable feedback from families guided how we made improvements of the site to provide them with the things they need at the right time. Testing with users gave us insight on what parts of the site needed adjustment or improvement to provide an easy experience.
